Historic inn, freshly refurbished rooms & a proper village pub — in the heart of Titchfield.
Nestled in the charming heart of Titchfield, The Bugle is a family-run hotel and pub where creaky floors and open-beamed character meet a warm, modern welcome. Under new ownership, Gavin & Natasha and their team have refreshed every room while keeping the soul of this old inn.
Expect home-cooked meals made with locally sourced ingredients — from quick lunches and classic pub dinners to weekend brunch and a proper Sunday roast — plus well-kept cask ales at the bar.
Comfy beds, tea & coffee trays, en-suite showers and a full English breakfast included with your stay — all within the walls of a centuries-old inn.

From a quick bite at lunchtime to a relaxed dinner by the beams — everything is cooked to order with locally sourced ingredients. Pair it with a rotating cask ale, a glass of wine or something spirits-forward from the back bar.
Spotlessly clean single room, everything I needed for a work stay. Tea, coffee and even two bottles of water waiting for me — and a proper English breakfast included in the price.
Wonderful Sunday roast and a bar full of character — uneven floors and all, that's exactly the charm. Ample free parking made it easy, and the village square is beautiful.
The new owners Gavin and Natasha could not do enough for us. Friendly, helpful, and the whole place has a lovely atmosphere now. We'll be back for an evening meal soon.
You'll find us right on the village square, opposite the fish & chips and a short stroll from Titchfield Abbey. Ample free parking at the rear.
